LPI Approved Training Materials (LATM)

The LATM program is the Linux Professional Institute's quality assurance program designed to facilitate the development and promotion of approved third-party training materials that support LPI certifications. Approved training products receive special recognition from LPI including the use of a promotional logo indicating the courseware's approved designation. Training materials must accommodate several quality requirements in order to become approved, including 100 percent correlation to LPI certification exam objectives.

ProCert Labs is the official authorized quality review laboratory for LPI and approves LATM products and assigns the LATM logo to courseware that meets LPI's standards of quality.

ProCert Labs specifically reviews LATM candidates for the following:

1. 100 percent correlation to the applicable exam objectives;

2. Each LATM product must display the LATM logo in an appropriate position on the exterior of the courseware packaging.

3. Each course that bears the LATM logo shall include the following description of the program and basic testing information: "This course is specifically designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to become professionally certified by LPI. To learn more about LPI certifications, or to register to take an official LPI certification exam, visit www.lpi.org."
